‘91 BMW 850Ci - The Convertible that was never built

Our friends at Autoblog are featuring on their home page an article on a 1991 BMW 8 Series CONVERTIBLE, yes, you read that right. The 850i that was never built as a convertible model as well. The '91 850i custom made convertible belongs to Erik Williams, offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys back in their glory days, has a sticker price of $25,900.

The beautiful, classy 850i received a customer treatment and was turned into an one of a kind 8 Series convertible. Despite the little imperfections when it comes to the customer soft top, the 850Ci in these photos is unique and the first 8 Series convertible I have seen so far.

So, if you're a car collector and looking for absolute unique, classy vehicles, this one might be for you, but be careful, the maintenance fees are known to be atrocious on the 8 Series, think…..close to a down payment on a new car.
